What is a clause?
A group of words with a subject and verb that forms part of a sentence
What is a main clause?
A clause that makes complete sense on its own
What is a subordinate clause?
A clause that depends on the main clause to make complete sense
What is active voice?
When the subject performs the action. e.g. The cat chased the mouse
What is passive voice?
When the subject receives the action. e.g. The mouse was chased by the cat
